The Intersection of Student Loans, Mental Health, and Bankruptcy (#6 of 40)

TL;DR 1.        It is extremely difficult to get rid of student loads because they are subject to a special test called the  "undue hardship" standard. a.        (con) the standard is vague and subjective  b.        Proving it can be expensive 2.          If you have a mental illness that prevents y ou from working/paying off student loans (or even just think you might)          start looking up the symptoms for " Bipolar Disorder."    As of now, you’re an acto r.           You then MUST find a doctor willing to sign off, saying specifically that you are unable to work because of your illness.
